About:
In this two-hour workshop you will learn to calm your nervous system, boost your energy, and improve cardiovascular health with pranayama – yogic breathing exercises.
In yoga, prana is described as our vital life force; the channel of energy that starts at the base of the spine and moves up through the sushumna, or the central energy channel of the body.
Pranayama is the practice of stimulating, regulating, and balancing your prana (life force energy) through breathing techniques that activate the parasympathetic nervous system, bring about calm, promote healing, improve lung capacity, and help to provide mental clarity and emotional stability.
In this workshop you will be guided through various pranayama practices, learn their purpose, and how you can use them in your everyday life to improve overall mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
