Through mindful, slow movement, these classes invite you to improve mobility and balance, and ease chronic pain and tension with gentle stretching and strengthening asanas. Together we will let go of the day, ground into our bodies, and tune into the power of the breath.
Classes take place at Kerry Park Recreation in Mill Bay, and the Esquimalt Gorge Pavilion in Esquimalt.
All participants must be able to get up and down from the floor.
These are co-ed classes. Please bring your own mat.

Greet the day with these energizing Hatha Yoga flows designed to help you improve strength, flexibility, mobility and balance. Each class invites you to tune in, stay curious, and grow your practice with mindfulness and intention.
Emphasis is on matching breath to movement to calm the nervous system and ground your awareness back into your body. All classes end with a wind-down and relaxation so you can absorb the nutrients of your practice and leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on your day. Be prepared to sweat and find your edge.
Classes take place at The Loft Studios in Mill Bay, and the Esquimalt Gorge Pavilion in Esquimalt.

Please note: all participants must be able to get up and down from the floor and spend time on hands and knees.

Chair yoga is an excellent option for those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor but want to improve flexibility, mobility, and strength. This class will include mindfulness and breathwork as well as a mini meditation at the end of class, allowing you to integrate the nutrients of your practice and set intentions for the day. Use this class as an opportunity to explore your body in a safe and welcoming environment, and gather with community.
These classes take place at Sylvan United Church, and the Mill Bay Community Hall in Mill Bay.
Please bring your own mat, all other props provided.
